Meet our Corporate Team
Allen (Tommy) Lawhorne, CEO
Tommy founded Commonwealth Strategic Solutions in 2019 and brings over 20 years of leadership experience in general management in both private and public sectors. He is a Service-Disabled Air Force Veteran and has extensive knowledge in business process engineering, continuous process improvement, quality management & assurance, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and robotic process automation. Tommy brings a collaborative style, strong business acumen, and a novel approach to our clients and partners.
Angela S Lawhorne, President
Angela partnered with Tommy in 2019 and specializes in business development, providing a client experience that exceeds expectations. She is a Service-Disabled Air Force Veteran with experience in managing multiple programs, projects, and grants. Angela is an analytical problem solver who utilizes data-driven decision-making to resolve issues, formulate strategic plans, and implement effective change.
Stephanie Van Lieu, Operations Director
Stephanie joined Commonwealth in 2021 and plays a crucial role in helping Commonwealth manage a fast-changing business environment. Stephanie specializes in creating infrastructure support and has an extensive background in business development. Stephanie helps administrate and manage the essential operational elements within Commonwealth to run technology, information, and data efficiently.
Michelle Oller, Growth Director
Michelle joined Commonwealth in 2021 and oversees all internal and external communications. She specializes in business development, digital media, and communications strategy. A strong belief guides her work in design as a way of improving the connections between people and the products they use. Michelle understands the intricacies of the federal government and how important effective messaging and clear communication can be for meeting a client’s needs.
Haneen Abudayyeh, Delivery Director
Haneen is a health innovation professional with over 11 years of public health, research, and
consulting experience. Since transitioning to Federal consulting in 2016, she has served in various
roles—notably program and project management expert—for multiple government agencies. In her
current position as a Director, Haneen leads the VHA Innovation Ecosystem contract support
team with program/project management, strategic communications, and technical needs. She is a
certified PMP and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and completed a certificate program at Stanford in
Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Danielle Jung, Contracts Manager
Danielle joined Commonwealth in 2022 as a Contracts Manager. She has six years of experience in government consulting and contracting across the VA and DoD. She specializes in Program Management and prioritizes strong relationships with our Customers to ensure a strong work product, satisfied end-users, and compliance with contractual requirements.
Stacie Rubin, Support Services Lead
Stacie began working for Commonwealth in 2022 and brings 10+ years of experience in office support and management. As the Support Services Coordinator, Stacie supports the organization’s people-first culture by managing key HR functions including on-boarding, off-boarding, employee relations and morale, recruiting, policy compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. With a focus on efficiency and effective communication Stacie plays a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for both new and existing employees. With a background in office management, human relations, and business development Stacie is passionate about helping teams thrive and fostering a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work.
