Meet our Team
Allen (Tommy) Lawhorne, CEO
Tommy founded Commonwealth Strategic Solutions in 2019 and brings over 20 years of leadership experience in general management in both private and public sectors. He is a Service-Disabled Air Force Veteran and has extensive knowledge in business process engineering, continuous process improvement, quality management & assurance, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and robotic process automation. Tommy brings a collaborative style, strong business acumen, and a novel approach to our clients and partners.
Angela S Lawhorne, President
Angela partnered with Tommy in 2019 and specializes in business development, providing a client experience that exceeds expectations. She is a Service-Disabled Air Force Veteran with experience in managing multiple programs, projects, and grants. Angela is an analytical problem solver who utilizes data-driven decision-making to resolve issues, formulate strategic plans, and implement effective change.
Stephanie Van Lieu, Operations Manager
Stephanie Van Lieu joined Commonwealth in 2021 and serves as Operations Manager, playing a pivotal role in guiding the organization through a rapidly evolving business landscape. She is responsible for building and maintaining the operational infrastructure that enables Commonwealth to scale efficiently, adapt quickly, and operate securely. Stephanie specializes in designing infrastructure systems and processes that align people, technology, and data.
Michelle Oller, Growth Manager
Michelle joined Commonwealth in 2021 and oversees all internal and external communications. She specializes in business development, digital media, and communications strategy. A strong belief guides her work in design as a way of improving the connections between people and the products they use. Michelle understands the intricacies of the federal government and how important effective messaging and clear communication can be for meeting a client’s needs.
Danielle Jung, Delivery Manager
Danielle joined Commonwealth in 2022 as a Contracts Manager. She has worked in government consulting and contracting since 2017 across VBA, VHA, and DoD. She specializes in Program Management and prioritizes strong relationships with our Customers to ensure a strong work product, satisfied end-users, and compliance with contractual requirements.
Michael Cushman , Delivery Manager
Michael joined Commonwealth in 2022 and brings over 8 years of federal government consulting experience across multiple agencies. With experience supporting innovation, assistive technology, and accessibility programs throughout the government Michael brings extensive knowledge in navigating bureaucracy, project management, and building relationships that lead to lasting success.
Stacie Rubin, Operations Coordinator
Stacie Rubin joined Commonwealth in 2022 and brings more than a decade of experience in office management, operations, and organizational support. As the Operations Coordinator, Stacie plays a central role in strengthening the company’s people‑first culture by overseeing key operational and HR and accounting functions, including onboarding, employee engagement and morale, recruiting support, policy compliance, payroll, and day‑to‑day workflow coordination.
